Moody Blues...Ride My Seesaw (1970)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJETHtCN-zk

Ride, ride my see-saw,
Take this place
On this trip
Just for me.

Ride, take a free ride,
Take my place
Have my seat
It's for free.

I worked like a slave for years,
Sweat so hard just to end my fears.
Not to end my life a poor man,
But by now, i know i should have run.

Run, run my last race,
Take my place
Have this number
Of mine.

Run, run like a fire,
Don't you run in
In the lanes
Run for time.

Left school with a first class pass,
Started work but as second class.
School taught one and one is two.
But right now, that answer just ain't true.

Ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah, ah ah ah ah ah

My world is spinning around,
Everything is lost that i found.
People run, come ride with me,
Let's find another place that's free.

Ride, ride my see-saw,
Take this place
On this trip
Just for me.

Ride, take a free ride,
Take my place
Have my seat
It's for free.

Ride, my see-saw.
Ride, ride, ride, my see-saw.
Ride, my see-saw...

5. Always my pleasure, Swede.
I probably listen to at least one Moodies song every day.

2. I was just thinking about the Moody Blues earlier today.
I was listening to my favorite- Your Wildest Dreams.

They hold a unique place in the musical universe. They own the style, and it's never been imitated. And it's a lot deeper a style than many realize.

6. They do. They managed to carve out a niche for themselves that hasn't
really been imitated. The story of how they became a band and how they became a success is one of the more interesting stories in rock history.

3. Love the Moodies, and this album in particular
But didn't it come out in '68 or '69? I distinctly remember tripping to it many times when I lived in Denver.

4. Yeah, 68. In Search of the Lost Chord and Days of Future Passed
are my two favorite Moody albums. I must say that I know where you're coming from on the mind expanding front.

13. I absolutely fucking hate the Moody Blues. When I was a freshman in college, my
roommate listened to one group and one group only -- the Moody Fucking Blues!! Ride My See-Saw, Nights in White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon...day in and day out!!

To this day when they come on the radio, I do not even hesitate to change the station.

Other than that, I'm sure they are nice fellows...

14. Once upon a time
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mP6-j9pxTGI

Once upon a time
Once when you were mine
I remember skies
Reflected in your eyes
I wonder where you are
I wonder if you think about me
Once upon a time
In your wildest dreams

Once the world was new
Our bodies felt the morning dew
That greets the brand new day
We couldn't tear ourselves away
I wonder if you care
I wonder if you still remember
Once upon a time
In your wildest dreams

And when the music plays
And when the words are touched with sorrow
When the music plays
I hear the sound I had to follow
Once upon a time

Once beneath the stars
The universe was ours
Love was all we knew
And all I knew was you
I wonder if you know
I wonder if you think about it
Once upon a time
In your wildest dreams

And when the music plays
And when the words are touched with sorrow
When the music plays
And when the music plays
I hear the sound I had to follow
Once upon a time

Once upon a time
Once when you were mine
I remember skies
Mirrored in your eyes
I wonder where you are
I wonder if you think about me
Once upon a time
In your wildest dreams

In your wildest dreams
In your wildest dreams
In your wildest dreams
