1. I have body image problems that includes conflicting feelings about wanting to be attractive

I want to be attractive so that people think about me positively. I know from experience that my better appearance results in people being nicer to me. I am not one of those "beauty queens" though who are held in high regard because of their appearance.
On the other hand, why do those undesireable perverts have to think that I am completely hot? I wish that they would stop hitting on me? Although I suppose that I give more attractive men some leeway, I am not amused by obscene comments directed towards me no matter what.
One time I went to this bar. I did my best to look good because I thought that everyone would think that I was an ugly freak. Then a group of attractive men approached me and wanted to hire me to strip for them (I am not a stripper and I did not give them any indication that I was). I was very upset about that. I would have been upset though if I would have gone to the bar looking frumpy and had everyone repulsed by me though too.
I am married, but it is not enough that my husband thinks that I am attractive.
Yes, I am in counseling and discussing these issues with my counselor. I have suffered from an eating disorder so it is all relevent.

And it's taken me forever to get here. I don't see why someone else gives a crap that I am not skinny. I'm not hurting them, I've developed a pretty decent personality, if I do say so myself, and I'm not an overeater. I exercise. I just don't diet like I should to get the pounds to shed.
Anyway, I'm fairly comfortable in my skin.

it just so happens I have a skin infection that seems to not want to heal. I've taken 4 different antibiotics and it looked healed only to come back 3 days later. So no! Right now I'm not! Its getting better now, I think and hope :)

21. I've never been in anyone else's so I really don't have a basis for comparison. :)

Right now I've got an itch on my back that I can't reach though... would be nice if I could take it off, scratch, then put it back on... :)
