No, really I did. That doesn't mean I needed an iPhone, but I think I'm going to interpolate it into my classroom presentations. It does everything a video iPod does, and I never had an iPod.

The internet works really well. I can access and post to DU on it, but it's text messaging and my fingers have a bit of arthritis in them, so it's limited in the sense that I may not want to use my fingers that much.

Only it also works as a phone. And an iPod. AND a digital camera.

I'm a college professor. I can use it to keep track of my online classes AND DU on it. I can take photos at a protest rally and instantly post them to DU.

I've had it one day and I don't know how I ever lived without it.

19. I've seen plenty of other palmtop sized computer/phone/mp3 players out there.

And while most may come with fairly small amounts of memory, they can all be upgraded fairly easily. A friend of mine has had one such device for at least a year now, works just fine. Surf the internet, use it as a computer, make calls, listen to music.

I dunno, I guess it's just my aversion to buying name brand stuff. :) Especially when it's something with the added cost of a lowercase i at the beginning of it.

good price on it. There wasn't that much difference, so I went with the new one.
