What's the best HD/DVD player...

1. all I know is

don't buy and Apex tv with a DVD player built in. The player doesn't work, it's a total rip off. :(

3. I would wait until

either HD or BlueRay becomes the standard. A HD player can still play your old DVDs. Sounds like HD is going to be the winner but you never know. Hell, I'm still using a Betamax.:crazy:

I would avoid anything made by GoVideo....I would look to Go throw mine off of a bridge.

5. Another vote to wait!

Until the hi-def format wars get resolved and there is a clear direction for the market, I'm not buying a player. I did buy a TiVo HD and am recording plenty of hi-def movies and getting my fix that way.

Though from what I've read most people are sitting this out until a standard is resolved. The technophiles are the ones jumping for one or the other...or both.
