AFC East: Patriots
AFC North: No Way. They are all solid playoff teams.
AFC South: Titans or Colts. OK that's not really bold. But its too tough to pick.
AFC West: Chargers by a mile. The other teams are completely unprepared.
NFC East: Cowboys. They are all second-rate teams with huge flaws.
NFC North: Da Bears, of course. No contest.
NFC South: Saints, closely followed by the Atlanta Falcons, who aren't nearly as dead as folks think.
NFC West: Arizona Cardinals. Yes, they have arrived. They will waltz into the playoffs with big fanfare.
Big stories of the year:
1. Atlanta Falcons win without their star QB. Better to have an average team player than a selfish superstar.
2. AZ Cardinals are going to light it up. But in the end, they are not good on defense.
3. Vince Young is going to be a candidate for MVP. Remember the name LenDale White. He is going to make his name this year.
4. Weary Saints fans won't be kept waiting for long. That team is stacked and will not disappoint this year. They can score at will. And now they know it. Watch out.
5. Brady Quinn is going to start at some point this season, and he is going to do fine.
6. JaMarcus Russell has worn out his welcome in more places than just Oakland. The Raiders took a real chance on the guy, and he's holding out for money? This will not end well.
7. The Colts are still the Colts. Ya might want to remember that. Vince Young will.
