I need caffeine rehab
I'm so sick of getting withdrawal headaches on the weekends when I sleep later. I don't know which thought is more vile, giving up caffeine or getting up earlier to get my fix. It really sucks to have first-world problems like this.

1. I think we should start a hug thread to comfort you in your withdrawal.
Or maybe you just need a lot of these, without the donuts.

2. I understand your predicament...
Today I got up early enough to avoid the withdrawal

yesterday I barely made it in time and "had" to get a cappuccino fix :P

3. I gave up caffeine about 4 months ago
I was a major Diet Coke addict, too. I'd drink about a gallon a day of the stuff and that's no exageration. I had to give it up because it was playing hell with my digestive system. I felt like shit for a little while, but everything is good now. I don't drink anything but water.

4. Always tough
I am now drinking the new Mountain Dew Game Fuel pop. It has 73mg/can more than the usual 55mg per can of regular Dew. Withdrawal will be tough later.

5. I saw that at the store the other day, what is it?
I've been buying Vault-- which tastes pretty nasty actually -- a hypercaffeinated Mt Dew-type drink to supplement my Diet Coke and coffee addictions. I start back to school on Wednesday and I know my caffeine consumption will take a huge leap as I try to stay awake for my night classes. I'm really envious of people who seem to have naturally high energy levels.

7. Mix of Livewire and Code Red mixed together is the taste
Not bad, better than the Pitch Black II Sour they had a couple years back.

It is just a short-term promo to come out with Halo 3 for the really hard core gamers who need lots of caffeine for their multi-day sessions.

6. I went camping once and forgot the instant coffee.
The headache was horrible. I almost gave it up then and there, but I have a job which requires lots of international flights & late night work sessions. Just couldn't do it.

Good luck.

10. Could you have a coffee maker that will make you a cup of coffee that will be ready the minute your
feet hit the floor? Give up coffee - nah.
