Electric has been out since thursdays storm. With losing alot of food and getting some water in the basement it feels great to have power again. Been bottle feeding 2 liters of kittens found outside in the dark by flashlight. Been also taking care of some larger kittens in the dark. Its only been a few days without power and it feels like forever. Could only imagine what the people in a hurricane go through. Anyone else been without power?
In 1994, I was in an ice storm in the south. We had no water for 3 days and I had no power for 11 days. I broke down and cried when the power finally came back on.
It's been a wild summer in the midwest, hasn't it?
