Has anyone met Mr. Bubbles or Big Daddy yet?

One of the coolest games in years! Bioshock. Awsome. Has anyone else played this yet?

1. OMFG.
I want to play that game sooooo bad. But I don't have a system that can run it.

So I guess I'm gonna have to live with run throughs on youtube, which should appear within the next few months.

2. It's great but does call for some of the latest hardware.
Intuitive controls and non-linear gameplay.

It's worth a new system just to play it.

3. *pulls out pockets. Enter lint floating slowly to ground*
I got no money. But I have a list of games I want to buy when I move out and get a job.

4. Caveat emptor
BioShock PC - You Only Install Twice (Updated)

This pisses me off to no end. I salute Irrational Games (now 2K Boston) for making a great game, but the publisher treating law-abiding people like this by limiting their installs to only two computers would have been a deal-breaker for me. I bought the game before I knew this, and now I can't return it.

Sure, you can uninstall the game and get one of your install "credits" back, but if your hard drive crashes or you have to reformat your computer without being able to uninstall the game, you're out of luck.

5. If you uninstall, you get your license back for it...
But if you crash and burn, you'll have to call them and tell them that you crashed and burned... same as windows, Adobe CS3 and just about all the professionally designed software.

6. It's just a shitty way to treat the people who actually purchase the game.
This does absolutely nothing to stop piracy. And apparently, Securom is digging their heels in and pointing anyone who has issues with the game to 2K.

7. I don't like it either, but I'm afraid we had better get used to it.
How many copies of Doom 1&2 do you think were shared by friends and family? :)

8. Not the point.
And I don't have to "get used to it."
This kind of treatment of the people who actually buy the game is insulting, and like I said before, does nothing to prevent piracy. The cracked PC version of the game is already out there, and people who download it can install it all over the place. I'm treated like I'm not trustworthy.
