Tell Me About Your GOOD First Dates

1. I have been on two actual "dates" in my life

The first was when I was 18 and is documented in Pri's thread about worst first dates.

The second was six years ago with the man I currently live with. :)

I get one in each thread. :bounce:

2. First time I met EstimatedProphet wasn't really a date

We met each other through a mutual friend while I was visiting the friend out of town - that was March 2003. We immediately clicked and spent the next month and a half communicating online and via the telephone (since he lived in D.C. and I lived in Ohio).

So, we planned a date weekend for early May when my classes were done and I could drive out to D.C. First was lunch together at Hard Times Cafe and then a Fleetwood Mac concert later that night. The next night was our "official" date - dinner at a place called Le Tarbouche (Middle Eastern cuisine that was amazing). Both dates were perfectly wonderful and today I love him more than I ever thought I could love anyone.

Well, we married on September 3rd, 2005 so I guess we are!
