My Belgian Strong Ale got second place at the fair

Out of 5 other Belgian ales. I'm really pleased with it and can't wait to see the judging sheets.
My IPA I bottled the night before dropping off entries so I knew it wouldn't do well, I just want to see the comments about it.

How do you make it Belgian since I'm assuming you're not from Belgium?

3. The type of hops, grains and yeast

It was a clone of Duvel and one of the best beers I've ever brewed. I made some mistakes in the brewing and will make sure I rectify them when I make it again.
I've made chocolate stout in the past but that is more of a British style.
