Does anyone else think that the conservatives are like the Victorians?

Especially when it comes to sex. So opposed to all forms of it, and yet they are the ones with the most perverse, fucked up sexual likes and lives. I just keep thinking about the Victorian era, when everyone was prim, and proper, and England had more prostitution that at any other time, and 12 year old virgins were all the rage, and so were little boys, even though all these big, rich, conservatives went on crusades against sexuality. It is very much like the conservatives, everything is about sex (and not in the good way).
