and never do. I'm so picky and perfection oriented, that I hate most everything I make.

11. I hear ya

I used to draw, but it always sucked - compared to people I knew it was ok but always seemed flat and contrived.

So I decided writing was better for me. I can control words better than pencils :) Even then, I am my own worst critic.

But I have learned to like some things I have done, like my poetry. It comes from my heart - and while not perfect, it is ME and what I was feeling and thinking.

I have started several novels and short stories, but hate them by the time I get anywhere with them. Others like them, but I don't, so I abandon them and rework them in my head.

And in the end, they never get finished because I don't like them. Maybe I just need to accept that others like what I do not, and cut myself some slack...
