No, you dipstick "journalist", we ALWAYS knew the evolutionary tree was a broad bush instead of a 1-branch tree. It's you using the hackneyed drawing of life-from-the-sea-ascending-to-man-with-briefcase that thought this was something brand new.

This is just another refinement, not a "controversy". x(
