Zappa fans - do I have anything here of value
Edited on Thu Aug-09-07 11:47 AM by LynneSin
I was at my favorite independant music store that happens to sell vinyl in the back. They must have gotten a major shipment because I could have gone broke buying some of the stuff they had - all in near perfect mint condition (These are vinyl records).

I've always wanted to expand my Frank Zappa collection and did so with the following albums:

* The London Symphony Orchestra - Zappa Vol 1
* Sleep Dirt
* Ship arriving too late to save a drowning witch

Let me know what you think

1. If by value you mean...
To you and your ears, then hell yes. I have no idea of the monetary value, I would never think of selling my Zappa collection.

3. London Symphony is awesome stuff
I have it on CD. His orchestral writings are underrated in my opinion. Incredibly complex, fun to listen to.

im not familiar with the second one

"Ship Arriving too late.." has "Valley Girl" on it, that alone is worth the purchase price.

5. Somewhat.
FZ wasn't thrilled with LSO Vol. 1. Sleep Dirt was one of three albums which later became Lather (pronounced Leather), which is supposed to be as he originally concieved the work. Ship Arriving Too Late is only so-so.
