Woman Accused Of Barking At Dog Arrested

POSTED: 12:10 pm CDT August 8, 2007

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- Two women were arrested in Sheboygan after one barked at a police dog.

According to the criminal complaint, police officers responded about 3:15 a.m. Saturday to a call about a disturbance between two groups of people on a Sheboygan street. They approached Lawanda E. Bowman, 23, of Sheboygan, because she "was crying and yelling out loud in a hysterical fashion."

Bowman's friends told the officers that she had been drinking and they were trying to calm her down.
