I left three of my children in the car yesterday while I went shopping!
Of course, they are 22, 20 and 16 and didn't want to come in with me, but still.

5. I don't really see the problem at all
my parents left me in the car all the time as a kid (in the 80s) after about the age of seven, when they ran short errands. They'd leave the keys in the ignition and let me listen to the radio. Big deal.
