How cute: we're getting mother/daughter pedicures today

MrShine and ShineBoy are off on their annual backpacking trip in the mountains with the guys, so we're having some special "girl time" this week.

I've never had a professional pedicure before in my life and I'm definitely NOT into doing the cutesy matching thing, but this will be fun, nonetheless.

Maybe I'll post a pic, later. :D

1. had my tootsies done on Sunday

it had been forever since I had a pedicure... and I was worried because my feet were sunburned. The pedicurist was very gentle... and my toes look very pretty.

I usually just paint my own toe nails, but it'll be a real treat to be pampered with a pedicure. I want to get some sort of fancy flower or shiny thingies on my big toes. :D I think those look cool.

It's sooo fun to get that pedicure. I had a green tea pedicure a couple of months ago and it was wonderful.

What's not to like? Sit back, warm bubbly water on tired tootsies, they end up soft and pretty. I loves me a pedicure - it's my way of treating myself.

The place we went to yesterday has these very cool vibrating chairs that massaged our backs for a 20 minute cycle, while our feet were sitting in warm bubbly water! It was amazing. I'll definitely be going back there.
