The National Zoo has a new baby anteater!

They're calling him/her "Little Schnozzy". They won't know whether it's a male or a female for awhile yet...

4. Anteaters are amazingly cool looking...
animals! And baby anteaters even moreso! He looks a bit like a stuffed animal, hanging there off of Mom.

9. LOL...I doubt it.
They won't know the sex of the baby for awhile yet, so they're calling it Little Schnozzy until then.

14. The Asia Trail is wonderful!
We're members of FONZ, but I'm waiting for the weather to cool a bit before we go back to the zoo. A Monday or Tuesday visit in early September will be less crowded.

They're having a beer-tasting (microbrews!) event on August 23rd...

I wonder if the baby nurses while on its mother's back?
