Still Kicking

Hello All!

I have been absent from the forum for quite some time, now. I'm sure most of you don't remember, but I lost my loving life partner, Claudia, to small cell cancer on Feb. 19th, 2007, and my life has been a struggle since then. I do continue to listen to NPR each day on my way to and from work, and I've tried to keep current with the world's affairs, but it is difficult to take anything to heart when one's heart aches as much as mine. Please know that I'll continue to support DU, even financially (when I have my wallet handy!), and I continue to support the cause of freedom in the U.S. - especially those freedoms that rightfully belong to my gay and lesbian friends!

I wish Hillary and the fav dem candidates would stand and be on our side, for once. Why can't they just grow the strength to say what is right!!!!! Gay folk deserve equality too!!!!
