In my many-year'd tenure at DU, I'm not sure I've ever seen a Night Court appreciation thread

W. Tf. Is up with THAT? Disclaimer: I could be wrong/distracted/on the *most rare occasion* drunk and missed it if it did in fact occur. At any rate...DISCUSS!!

hedges and I were however just discussing tonight what an under-appreciated character (seemingly, anyway, by the lack of any recent worship) that Dan Fielding was. :D

7. Dan Fielding was probably the most "fleshed out" (pardon the pun)
character in the series. I loved him.

6. Why do you think Laroquette's character is underrated?
Edited on Mon Aug-06-07 10:09 PM by Fenris
Laroquette is quite an amusing comedic actor. It occurs to me at this moment that I still derive a certain pleasure from "Madhouse." :spank:

5. Night Court was a "don't Miss It " show for me!
my favorites then: Night Court WKRP Barney Miller Those shows were just the greatest! Dan Fielding was so unctuously bad; he just oozed it. John Laroquette was just great in that role.

9. Nightcourt was a really cool show.
I actually used to watch tv back then. :) Not many sitcoms seem that funny.

13. Bull always reminded me of my dad.
With the exception of the fact that my dad wasn't bald or ditzy.

14. I once called a slimy co-worker Dan Fielding. He didn't get the reference
but his sales staff sure did. Good to see John L. coming to 'Boston Legal' this year. :-)
