My grandpa passed away this morning.

Thankfully, he wasn't in pain, and lived to be 92 1/2 years old. Still, it sucks.

He wasn't the same after my grandma passed away this February, as one can understand.

The last time we saw him was on Memorial Day, and he was having a good day then. I'm glad that we had a good visit (he died at the condo at the beach where my grandparents lived. I'm glad it was a peaceful setting, too.).

I lost two of my grandparents in the past few years. It is hard. I think that those of us who are young sometimes forget how much of a full life that they had long before we were born though. My condolences to you and your family.
