3. No. My BIL and his fam are moving out of the country and we agreed to adopt her.
She is as large as the GSD, and a bit heavier. With no more table scraps or stolen cat food she will slim down.

One thing we realized is we will have to keep a supply of tea towels handy for wiping her face.

5. Thanks.
Your girl is sooo pretty. Is she a bloodhound? I used to love Beauregard on Hee Haw. :D

Gloom! Despair! And agony on me!

11. Yes, a purebred bloodhound.
She has a pattern, instead of being all brown like the HeeHaw dog (I used to watch that show as well). Her paws are larger than the GSD's, and they are webbed! It's a riot when she starts prancing and running up to you with all that skin jiggling. But she does favor laying down a lot. Nothing like na high-energy lab or beagle.

12. Wow! We love them!
What a great pack. The black one looks so elegant. The other two have that fun rambunctious terrier look. What breeds are they?

16. Thanks!
Honestly, we don't really know. The black one is a german short hair pointer/black lab, but the other two we're still partly trying to figure out. The golden colored one we picked off the street after my mom watched some lady drop her and her sister off. Luckily it was outside the school she teaches and my mom was on her lunch break, so she and another teacher brought them in, and the other one is just fine now too. The brown one we got from our vet when she said she was looking for a home for it. Even she didn't know the breed.

10. Congratulations OR

Bloodhounds are such sweeties,,,we had one named Samantha. Great appetites.
She would eat anything from artichoke leaves to a leather glove. Always hungry,
Know you will enjoy her.

14. We have been warned of her bottomless stomach, lol!
We have adjusted the kitchen, but the warking about gloves is appreciated. Hate to find she had entered by shop and made a chew toy out of my welding gloves.

The fur floats around more than I imagined. Kind of like the fur from our long-departed Springer. Has anyone tried an air ionizer to help control fur in the house? The GSD's fur is coarser and does not really float. Love the dogs, but hate fur in my food or drinks.
