How pathetically desperate is it to put up a "casual encounters" personal on Craigslist?

if you're looking for a meaningless sexual fling to post one. I stopped judging other people last year. If it presents the possibility of what you're looking for and you're okay with it...that it would be the rational thing to do.

But...armcandy? You do remember I'm a guy, right? A bi guy, true, but only mildly so. I don't chase enough guys to need armcandy. And having girls show up to drool on you might defeat the purpose, even if you go: "Hey, I'm in a happy relationship, but my buddy here's single."

I have just gotten into reading craigslist but I don't read those areas. What I do read are the 'best of craigslist' rants (left of page midway down), and it's apparent that some people use those casual encounters quite frequently. I don't think it is any different than going to a bar. One in particular I read blew my mind...I'll just post the link. I mean, when you consider how vulnerable this woman is making herself to these men, it seems crazy, but she does it, with ground rules (meets in a public place first, asks to see their drivers liscense, etc) but still, it's a trip

I don't think it is for me, but if there are women out there that are into it, it might be a public service but you should know what you are doing, be really careful, and maybe ask around with other people's experience (not to mention safe sex). You know, you could post a question on craiglist about it, lol.

i am picky about looks -- and on craigs list the picture thing is important.
