3. The day that couple with 17 kids takes fertility pills and plops out 6 identical twins...
In short, the later the better if ever.

Just like fertility pills, steroids are a cheat.

And now I'm off; I have to take my Prozac and ADD medications...

10. Fertility pills are not a cheat
Just ask my mom who had to take them b/c she couldn't get pregnant.

16. Please forgive me.
Usually when I read stories of the lady giving birth to 5~7 children, fertility pills always get mentioned. I equated "fertility pills" to a glib generalization of "convincing the lady to plop out a bunch of eggs to be fertilized all in one go".

Many still say it's a miracle, and it is a miracle - that such children survive being so severely premature, et cetera. (I was significantly premature as well, but for other reasons...)

18. I was 6 weeks premature
and weighed a little over 2 pounds when I was born. I am a twin, yes those fertility pills really do increase the chances of multiple births but my mom had two miscarriages and was told she would never have kids until she finally decided to go on the pills. All in all, it took her 10 years to get pregnant. Luckily she got married at 19 and started trying to get pregnant right away.

Nowadays, a lot of women are waiting longer to get married and to start a family. It's not a good thing when they can't get pregnant right away b/c their clock is already tick-tocking.

No hard feelings against you I just wanted to point out the fact that some women take those pills b/c they really are having trouble getting pregnant.

11. I'll be thrilled to death
Because then, maybe, we'll stop hearing about him and he can fade away. I don't really care about the steroid allegations. I'm sure they're probably true, but if we discounted every juicer on the field, both past and present, there probably wouldn't be much of a game left.

13. I'm thrilled to death
Because then, maybe, we'll stop hearing about George W. Bush and he can fade away. I don't really care about the violations of the constitution. I'm sure they're probably true, but if we discounted every thief in Washington, both past and present, there probably wouldn't be much of a government left.

We shouldn't tolerate it from Bonds or from anyone. I say baseball goes ahead and orders investigations on every one who allegedly used, and tests them non-stop just to make sure they are still not using.

17. Comparing Bush to a juicer
is kinda...I dunno.

Tell you what, every single professional sport from baseball to golf to NASCAR should, tomorrow, force EVERY single person on the roster to take a piss test, then another, then another. Then a test of their hair. See how many folks are clean.

20. I agree.
I think you have to blame the powers that be in these sports that have allowed this to take place for so long. Yes, Bonds gets singled out more often than not and he never had a positive test, to my knowledge, so it's at times unfair to place all the blame on him.

Look at the Tour De France and all those cyclists who are getting banned. At least that organization has decided that enough is enough. I applaud them for being so strict.

25. The powers that be are absolutely to blame
for allowing this to happen. Sadly, like most CEOs, their success is based in stockholder interest, which in sports, is rooted in ticket sales and merch.

I don't place any blame on Bonds for being singled out. He's just the biggest target, just like McGwire was at the time.

Unfortunately, the buzz in the biz is that they could piss-test them all every week and many would still pass via masking. Wish I had the answer.

Why couldn't he have started juicing when he was here, maybe the Pirates wouldn't have spent the past 10+ years in the toilet.

Are you going to be as gracious as Hank Aaron when A-Rod passes your doped, drugged, juiced, arrogant ass on his way to 800? I'm not a Yanks fan by the way- just seeing the inevitable.

23. Hank Aaron is a hero.
Always was, always will be.

To honor Aaron's contributions to Major League Baseball, MLB created the Hank Aaron Award, an annual award given to the hitters voted the most effective in each respective league. He is the last Negro league baseball player to play in the major leagues.<2> He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982, his first year of eligibility.

In 1999, editors at The Sporting News ranked Hank Aaron 5th on their list of "Baseball's 100 Greatest Players". That same year, baseball fans named Aaron to the Major League Baseball All-Century Team.

In June 2002, Aaron received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor.

In a recent interview, with Chris Dimino, Aaron made it most clear that his reluctance to attend any celebration of a new home run record is based upon his deep feelings that baseball is not about breaking records, but simply playing to the best of your potential.
