Give Halliburton the contract to rebuild America's infrastructure. Hell, we could probably go for Utopia and have them build solar-powered commuter trains in all the major cities. They won't need to have the war if they have enough work here eh?

...to steal billions of dollars and hide it offshore if they had to work under bureaucratic oversight. Also, the fact they were building shoddy crap would quickly become obvious. Finally, I think domestic government contracts have to be put out to competitive tender, and Halliburton doesn't do competitive tender.

Of course, BushCo can no doubt find a way around all these obstacles, so maybe that's what'll happen.
