It isn't just DU: "Brangelina" having their own primary wars.
According to the rags:

The latest reported spat between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie isn’t about her weight or overseas orphan addiction.

Turns out, it’s about domestic politics.

You see, Brad is a Barack Obama supporter, while Angie — who I would have taken for a Hillary gal — is a fan of John Edwards. According to Life & Style, tensions have been so high that Angie even threw a glass of wine in Brad’s face over the upcoming presidential election.

How very Joan Collins of her!

“They got into a huge fight about politics,” says an insider close to the Pitt family. “Brad ended up calling her immature. He says the next thing he knew, Angie was cursing at him and throwing a glass of wine in his face.” Which Brad obviously loved. “He was left standing there with wine dripping down his face onto his clothes,” says the insider, “before storming off to wash up and change. He says he was absolutely disgusted by Angelina’s behavior.”

Well, I think Obama and Edwards would agree on one issue: DON’T WASTE THE FREAKIN’ WINE! Seriously, woman. The vineyard owner didn’t pick the perfect grapes, squeeze the juice, ferment it for a month and age that liquid goodness in a bottle for a couple years just so you could throw it away on a John Edwards-fueled temper tantrum! Next time, do the more sensible thing: use the back of your hand. Duh.

4. Unfortunately....
with rumors of an impending separation, I doubt they'll be out of our faces anytime soon.

I pride myself in being the only person in a full theatre so utterly bored by Mr and Mrs Smith that I left half-way through.

I gotta say, though, that their purchase of the old home in NOLA (which has some intriguing history) has renewed my interest in them.

5. Considering her mother died recently
I don't think that her anger is truly about politics. She attributed her weight loss to the loss of her mother in an interview.

I hope that she gets through her grief.

It can't be easy being so in the public eye that no one considers your personal space while you grieve.

9. Wasn't politics one of the things that contributed to the breakup of
Brad and Jen?

I'm sure there was a lot more to it, but I seem to remember some primary fights between those too also.

10. Yup.
Although I think many of these stories about "politics" breaking up Pitt's relationships are inflated for the tabs, Brad Pitt appears to care about issues in a semi-meaningful way. He keeps hooking up with women who either don't give a rat's ass or care too much about the wrong things.

13. Angelia an Edwards supporter...?
Then how can she even consider playing the lead female role in Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand's paean to libertarianism, free-market capitalism, and "the virtue of selfishness"...?

:wtf:
