In fact, I'd go as far as to say that I was most definitely impressed, this is the first time I've seen her live. At age 48 the girl can still rock the house. What made it even better was that she took some great digs at the Bush Crime Family by playing choice sound clips of Rumsfeld's "known unknown" bs and *'s "won't get fooled again" during on of her songs.

Joan Jett, the chick still has it. If you get a chance to see her - do so!

:-)

4. Joan Jett is married. My brother, the former chauffeur and now limo company manager
drove them around Seattle when they were here. Apparently, her husband is a decent, but very nebbishy New Yorker. They sound like a cute couple...

17. Ahh. Rumour had it that she was involved with Kristanna Loken

from Terminator3 fame. Perhaps it was just a rumor, seemed too hot to be true anyway

5. Here's a tidbit from wikipedia...
"Tabloid sources have linked Jett and Carmen Electra romantically.<10> However, Electra said they were "just friends" on Jimmy Kimmel Live.<11><12>"

8. Same here...
I wasn't much of a fan either, back in the 80's she had an edginess that was really off-putting. These days she seems to have gotten over herself and looks like she's having a lot of fun and it shows on stage.

12. It was well worth the time.
Last evening we couldn't find anything to do when some one mentioned that she was playing a street fair in Alahambra. So, I thought, "heck! why not, let's do it!" And I'm glad I did! Great show. Her voice sounded real good too.

Now, I'm going to pat myself on the back.

15. Well, at least it was cheaper to see her back then.
If I had saw in say... 1982-1985, the tickets would have cost $8-$12 tops.

Michael Jackson fucked that all up when he charged $40 in 1984 to see him live. Ticket prices have been out of control since.
