I wish you guys all lived in Texas
My work crowd is a bunch of sheltered neocons.Their main concern is what's on sale at Neimann Marcus. What a disappointment.

10. Too bad I'm in Kollyforniya
Edited on Sun Jul-29-07 12:19 AM by Oeditpus Rex
Been to Dallas, though. Been in a lotta Texas. Spent a few days at Granite Shoals before it was LBJ Lake. Been to Six Flags when it was the only Six Flags. Been to Amarillo, Wichita Falls, Texarkana, San Antonio and El Paso.

And I'm starting to sound like Johnny Cash. :D

Edit: Wichita Falls, not Wichita.

23. Don't worry.
Those of us from there call it Wichita, The Falls, Wichita Falls, or this crappy little shit-hole town. :P

It can get boring there from time to time.

26. Kroger's??
There are no more Kroger's in Wichita Falls.

Albertson's or United Market Street is the shopping in town.

I wasn't even thought of 41 years ago.

:hi:

I know how you feel...I didn't think it was possible, but I live in an even redder state now. Breathe in, breathe out, repeat.

19. Indeed!
I went from living somewhere that really had no winter, to living where winter lasts for what seems like eternity. I'd never experienced below zero before, that was interesting. However, the skies are blue, I can breathe, and there are no hurricanes here!

If I leave, it'll be back up to WA state, where mostof my family is. I have no more family here, I hate the ungodly heat and the gov't here licks balls.
