Considering he was a skinny little stray when I took him in, I have to wonder how he managed to get so damned spoiled. His water bowl must always contain FRESH water. If it's more than an hour old, the cat will bug me to death to get him a new bowl of water. Yet at the same time, he will actually come into the bathroom while I am soaking in a tub and just happily drink from the bathtub.

:wtf: is up with that?

1. It's a cat thing

(subject-verb consistency)

Mine do the same thing.

If they're unhappy with the water, they'll get a sock out of the laundry or a towel off the rack and dump it in the water dish to soak it up.

Who says cats aren't tool users.

6. I saw a water dish at PetsMart that circulates the water....
...but I have been afraid to buy it, because knowing how cats are they probably wouldn't be amused by the recycled water and would ignore the damned thing totally or punish me in some obscure way for insulting their intelligence.

2. Mine would rather drink out of my waterglass than his dish. . .
He actually expects me to tilt and hold the glass while he drinks, if I don't he gets irate.

8. Lots and lots of catnip, Skittles.
Keeps them happy as hell.

Wish it worked for me as well as it does for them. :)
