Apparently the Christian cult "The Family" used to engage in a practice called Flirty Fishing, prostitute/recruiters for Jesus basically, which in turn produced Jesus Babies that cult patriach Grandpa had to raise.

The how-to manuals for Flirty Fishing are, well, not exactly Chick tracts. There's a "mature content" warning on all the links here, kids. Go ask your parents before clicking any further.

4. Oh my God! I'm still reading that site and just found out that Davito boy killed himself in 2005

He claimed extensive sex abuse in the cult against children. He broke off from them in 2001, but couldn't lead a normal life. He killed a fellow ex-member two years ago and then went off and shot himself. God, he was just a kid and they apparently put him through hell. Very sad story link.

These people aren't so amusing any more.

5. Cults that involve children and young adults are so wrong.

You'd think that there would be tougher legislation about this sort of thing.

Oh well, what are you gonna do. Scientology bought up the Cult Awareness Network...
