7. Had my first on the 4th....
Ate half of it, and made sorbet out of the other. Finished off the sorbet last night.

9. 'Tis... and easy as hell....
8 cups of chopped melon- seeds removed 1 can of thawed pink lemonade concentrate 2 cups sugar 2 cups water make syrup out of sugar and water and let it cool. process melon and sugar in a blender in batches; stir in pink lemonade. Chill mixture for at least 2 hours. Freeze in an ice-cream freezer- usually takes a little longer than ice cream- 30 minutes or so.

11. I had some yesterday.
I leave a little on the rind and cut it off in pieces in a bowl. Then I take the rinds out to my dogs and they will scrape it off the rind with their teeth, they love it as much as I do and it's a joy to watch them eat it. :)

12. Watermelon is one of the very few things my dog won't eat.
Weird, 'cause she'll eat damn near anything!

13. Ahhhh...chilled fruit...
Nothing like ice-cold watermelon on a hot day. Could have used some coming back from Cedarville yesterday...it was *114 going through Redding! Had to settle for lukewarm green tea... :hi:
