I can't sleep. Ask me anything, I guess.
I have to wake up for work in 3 and a half hours. At this point I might as well stay awake, but I have class tonight, so that means I can't crash until 9 or so. Unless I fall asleep in class, which I'd rather not. If it's getting to that point I'll leave early instead, it's less disrespectful.

Dang it, it would be so much easier if my body would only cooperate with today's schedule. :grr:

1. The answer is coffee shortly before the class
Normally I don't drink coffee. When I came back from my last trip to the US I arrived in Frankfurt 8 in the morning and went straight to work. I had a coffee at lunch and that helped me through the afternoon.

2. Caffine and my digestion don't make for a happy couple.
I could eat something a bit sugary, that might help a bit.

4. I think I can only hope there's no video tonight
If the classroom goes dark I'm done for.

8. It's a three hour long summer class, so it would be like missing a whole week
If I can't stay awake I'll go and leave early, but I really need to try to stay for the whole thing.

9. The best way to fall asleep when you can't is to try to stay AWAKE.
Cheap psychological trick I picked up a while back. Go lie down and try it.

10. I went to bed about 12 midnight...
Edited on Mon Jul-09-07 05:29 AM by Scooter24
tossed and turned and rubbed my eyes for 4-4 1/2 hours (bad allergies) and then saw that it was close to 5am and said "fuck it" and woke up and got online. I have a full 7a-4pm day today plus a workout with my trainer afterwards. Might just cancel the workout and come home for a nap but knowing him he'd come knocking at my door.

:hi:
