You know how much I lover her too, and if you look around DU, she pretty much escaped the hate on she usually gets around these parts.

Oh, did I mention I left out one of the best parts of her performance? There's one more song she performed, which, in typical Madonna form, she turned on its ear.

do you have??? This is my 'first' dog that was just mine. the others where either my parents or old boy friends. I can see I chose the most stubborn kind there is!! Ugh! Newspapers, magazines and on-line articles.

I am not a huge book fan because it takes me so long to complete a book mainly b/c I just don't have the time to sit and read a book cover-to-cover.

called "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova. It is fiction about Dracula. so far so good. I do subscribe to magazines, but mine are of the gardening type. I can understand where you wouldn't have time to read!

I told myself I would get back into books...I read one called "The Italian Letter", which was very good about the Bush Administration deceiving us into war and then I started this other book on the Mafia's influence on pop culture. I am about 200 pages in but I haven't touched it in a few weeks.

I have tried and they don't hold my interest. matcom is the political one in this family. I do have a deep interest in what goes on, don't get me wrong. I just cant read more than what is in the paper or in magazines.

As far as TV, I love all the CSI shows, COld Case, Without a Trace and I love Discovery Channel, History Channel, Food Network, National Geographic and any other shows that I can learn something from.

Of course I don't actually cook anymore. matcom does all the cooking here. I also like LOST. I do watch Cold Case, CSI, Law and Order(all of them)with out a trace, TLC, Discover, National Geographic, animal planet, and PBS(this old house)

I used to work in bars and restaurants. So I didn't know what all the houpla was about Seinfeld was until I moved back here and could watch it in prime time!!! I understand what you are saying! Lost changed times this past fall. I had to go out and upgrade my cable box to the dvr, so I could record it! Lost went from starting at 9 to starting at 10. Too late for me!
