Anybody watch Ken Burns' Baseball?
I am about to sit down and watch the first few innings right now. I was curious what you all thought of it.

1. I got the series from Netflix
If I weren't poverty-stricken, I'd most certainly own the set. It's a masterpiece.

3. I haven't seen it in years...
but from what I remember it was a well done documentary just like most everything else Ken Burns has done over the years...I would definitely recommend it if you are a baseball fan.

I have the old VHS tapes in a closet somewhere, I'll have to dig them out one day and give it another watch

4. Ken Burns is a treasure for sure
The Civil War just blew me away. He's coming out with one on WW2 this fall, that has to be simply awesome. I can't wait.

7. I liked it
I remember when it came out KO wrote a notorious piece called, "101 mistakes in Ken's Burns' Baseball" that nitpicked all the (fairly minor, in my mind) historical mistakes in the documentary; I bet you can still find it on the net somewhere...

10. I actually started to cry when he did the Negro League and
Josh Gibson...

I haven't been moved by a story like that in years...

I love baseball and I love the history and it just ripped my heart out what happened to him...
