X2 freakin' RULES and I'm only into 43 minutes of it. And rooting for the Mutants every single scene, naturally.

Of course, I do have to point out the blue car that Wolverine, Rogue, Iceman, et al escape in had an "X" theme on it - except for the gratuitous shot of the car's rear, which had a logo on it: Oval with two curved lines, shaped like a bird's wings from frontal view in the middle. I know it's a posh auto maker, but I forgot which one. Besides, a car costing THAT much, no one who'd be a fan of the X-Men movies could even begin to afford it...

Mazda... that's okay then. Well, as far as I'd ever tolerate a freakin' marketing ad in a sci-fi flick!

The ultimate in terms of awful product placements in a sci-fi flick goes to "Species 2". The opening of the movie says it all; with 4 space barges traversing the heavens, each with a giant corporate logo on them. :eyes: "Species 2" had some interesting ideas, but it just didn't have the right tone...
