2. I got a cat fix this morning on the way to the bus stop!! I live in a no-pets hellhole, and street kitties usually don't let me approach them closely. This gray and white female, however, may have been coming into heat; you know how affectionate they get. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

3. New Orleans, although "vacation" is putting rather a fine point on it: I'd view that month as the starting point for my own personal recovery plan (the key is "enough money").

18. Oh, I like these! #1. Tulip, no question. I really like cheerful, simple flowers.

2. I'm thankful my employee review didn't get canceled. The last round of reviews for people in my department got scheduled, then canceled, then a bunch of people who were supposed to be reviewed got fired instead. So given that my review is tomorrow morning, things are looking good for the time being.

3. Australia/New Zealand. We are actually planning to take that trip in the not-too-distant future.

4. Whichever award would bring the most money with the least amount of fame. :D I want the fortune, but I am not interested in being followed around by photographers.

5. Ginger/lime/coconut. It's probably already been invented, but I would sure love that. Especially if it was really gingery.
