what's the very best degreaser?

I need to find a superior degreaser for the stove hood. Mr. Clean, Pine-sol, orange stuff......got anything better?

1. used to use a chem called CV-88 back in the day..

early 90's. Not really sure where it came from, though... this was back in my bowling-machine mechanic days

2. Orange Stuff

But it has to be the strong ones the best I think is Goo Gone but not the spray bottle, the pour on is condensed. Second Citrasol, if you can't get the Goo Gone. Its amazing stuff. Don't get it on elastic or rubber,,,,besides that its awesome.

3. stabilized 1,1,1-trichloroethylene...uh, oh...household use. never mind.

4. I always use Windex-type stuff

I hate buying different cleaners for every task under the sun.
