... was not about the DU Lounge. And I apologize if anybody thought that.

In fact, I apologize to the one person whom it was about. Because, after mulling it over, I don't think they even intentionally wanted to hurt me. Sometimes it's just unavoidable...harming people. A person can just end up in the crossfire of a bad situation.

Enough drama for one day.

Oh, and ironically, one of my cats scratched the hell out of me today. Isn't that irony?

It was definitely a day I should have handled differently. Oh well, live & learn...right?

I had a lousy day too, but at least I wasn't at work, lol.

2. I didn't do much except laundry...

..and then ran some errands a minute ago.

I listened to the cd "The Story," in my car, and sang along to it...

my "scream-singing" must have been therapeutic for me, because

3. I still have cramps.

And I may call in again tomorrow.

I think I'm in "peri-menopause" or whatever they call it.

I am not a happy girl. Grrrrr.

4. I had severe...and I do mean...

...severe cramps for over 10 years.

Finally, last year, I got a hysterectomy...only because an ultra sound found 3 fibroid cysts attached to the lining of the uterus wall. I stopped the nurse at that point, in the description and said, "Just book me for it!" Except some emotional pain I've had, recently, about never being able to have children (which really caught me off guard) I am happy to be rid of the pain. Oh...I still get the joy of going through menopause, though, since I have everything else. :-(

5. Yes,

I have had severe cramps for years. They have gotten somewhat better as I age. But this time is a doozy. I have had ovarian cysts, so perhaps there is something there. But I have an aversion to doctors...so here I am.

The worst thing is the horrible crushing pms depression...never had it like this. And there is nothing to be done about that.

6. Want to hear something scary?

Not that I'm trying to top your story, or anything...
but...can you imagine not even realizing PMS is happening until it's too late?
Now that I don't have cramps (because there is no uterus), it's like an out-of-body experience. And, only after I've done something stupid, or cried for hours (not knowing why) does it dawn on me...oh...yeah...I probably have PMS (d'oh). So...life presents yet another challenge. There's always something, isn't there?

you are scaring me here. I want to think when it is done, then it is done.

But I get the PMS prior to the cramps...and you are right, usually I have to take a minute and remember what is up. Otherwise I think I have fallen into a well of madness. Which it is.

My first symptom is to snap at my dogs and I HATE when I do that. They are good good girls. But I rarely do that, so when I do I know what it means. Funny thing, I bet they know I'm PMSing before me. They have been VERY good today.
