Birthday Plans

Today is Mrs. V.'s birthday. Woo hoo!

We're going to see her neurologist. She has terrible, and terrifyingly frequent, migraines, and we're hoping to find one or the other today: a magic cure or news that yes, she can qualify for medical retirement.

After that appointment, if she's up to it, I'll take her for birthday lunch at the spot of her choice. At 4:00 she has the second half of her birthday present: a manicure & pedicure.

We'll end the day the usual way: her reading the paper, me reading a book, watch some TV, watch the cats rip.

Life is good here in Southern Maryland.

What do you like to do on your birthday?

spend some private time with Mrs bearfan (you know) and go out to eat and see our granddaughter.

Hope the Docs come up with some answers to the migraines...suffered from them a lot in the past but they seem to have jsut gone away...very, very rare now...........

My b-day is on St Patricks Day so, as always, it involves a lot of green beer...the rest sort of takes care of itself.......

3. Do you ever get tired of

corned beef & cabbage? I imagine I would, but thinking about it right now... :9... and corned beef hash for a week afterward... :9....

4. Yes, I do........

but corned beef sandwiches on rye with mustard and horseradish afterward are my reward for suffering thru the cabbage.....

Jewish rye or Russian rye are my favorites.
