3. That should have been the rule all along.
Another rule should have been: NO NHL teams shall go from MINNESOTA to TEXAS. It's just wrong. (Any other North Stars fans around here?)

6. Agreed, with one exception: New Orleans.
Palm trees, yes -- but the city was founded in 1718 by Bienville, who grew up in Lower Canada (now Quebec). Any city founded by a Quebecois can have hockey, sweltering climate or no.

Naturally, they're one of two warm-weather cities I can think of that doesn't: Houston is the other.
