Last year the Giants had the talent to go all the way...but they couldn't get it together.

The worst part about that loss was that you knew SF wasn't that good, and would lose the next week, which they did.

6. Niners not only lost, but got their ass kicked
the following week. That must've made blowing a 24 point lead in the 2nd half even more of a bitter pill to swallow...

The reason the Giants lost was because Shockey was being a punk...taunting the SF crowd. Not smart.

7. I'll agree about Shockey--he can't be anything other than a punk!
Not a big Fassel fan, but Shockey should have gone before him--no team needs someone like that--just a distraction more than anything else.
