We got here over 2 weeks ago.
Our daughter is expecting her second child.
"Due date" was over 1 week ago.
OK, it's a girl, so I guess you can't expect her to show up on time,
but COME ON!

If nothing happens between now and Wednesday, they'll induce.
I'm ready.

My first child was born two weeks past her due date....

Those were, without exception, the damned longest two weeks of my life!

Hang in there.....your granddaughter will arrive!

9. I check the board from time to time.

Been kinda busy with the 'daddy-do' list.
Fixed the back gate.
Hung curtains.
Re-hung curtains cause the first one didn't 'look right'.
"Look, dad...I'm trying to deal with a pregnant brain."
Fixed the sprinkler system.
Fixed Jack's bike seat.
He's my grandson.

Oh...and I'm in charge of hanging up cordless phones so they'll recharge.

15. We wanted to give her a break beforehand.

We also have a 5 year old grandson who can be a handful at times.
Our plan was to get here a few days to a week before the girl-child-yet-to-be-named arrived and take over the household stuff.

Miz t. is cook, laundress, and housekeeper; and I'm grilling cook, handyman, gofer, chauffeur, and you-name-it.
We're a hell of a team.
