Your all-star dream band...
Unlimited as to size and range of instruments. Harps, bagpipes, do not matter. Who would you choose, regardless of playing styles? And take into consideration song writing capabilities.:headbang:

3. Bob Quine used to play for the Voidoids and Lou Reed
He's amazing. Sadly, he passed away a few years back.

4. Pauling and Straw
Lowman Pauling: Lead guitarist for the Five Royales, enormously influential but reletively unknown R&B pioneers.

Syd Straw: Incredibly charismatic vocalist, the kind that can get away with saying to a crowd: "How y'all doing tonight?" and have everyone in the audience think she really wants to know. Performed with the dream band the Golden Palominos in the 80s and put out a few great solo records.

8. I can't answer this question.
I could say who my favorite drummer is.. But this is like mixing my ten favorite foods in a bowl. When mixed together it will end up tasting like shit.

10. Well, since Waylon, Willie, Kris, and Johnny ALREADY formed a band...
I'll say:

Lead guitar: Carlos Santana and Mark Knopfler.
Drummer: Mick Fleetwood
Bass: Charles Mingus (Who needs and electric bass?)
Keyboards: Duke Ellington
Lead vocals: Norah Jones

I'd change it five minutes from now.

Or, if I'm in a less jazzy, more rock mood:

Lead guitar: Lindsey Buckingham (yeah, an odd choice, but underrated, and very playful style. Plus, he's a great band guitarist, meaning he plays for the band, rather than to show off).
Second Lead: Rick Nielson (another underrated guitarist)
Electric bass and songwriter: Roger Waters
Lead vocals: Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie, Deep South--don't worry if you've never heard of him. Has a bluesy style).
Drummer: Ian Paice.
