give him a more than generous 5 percent interest .... compounded monthly .... *breaks out the calculator* ... 30 years ... carry the 5 ...

Hmm. He owes you about $10. Sorry.

3. My first BF is a millionaire...
He wanted me to marry him, after he made the money, I said no. He's nice, but even for that money, he was and is not marriage material, at least for me. :)

8.  I married the starving artist turned computer geek
and it turned out pretty well, after all.

We'll never be rich, but we have good taste in music, politics and art!

Plus we have a cool kid, as well.

The word "oops" comes to mind.

19. It's a good thing you weren't there to hold him back.
Or I bet that when you dumped him, you became his muse and his inspiration for acquiring all that wealth. And still he doesn't have you. So what good did it do him?

21. nah, actually he made off with my best friend
she's married to someone else too...

I just think the whole thing is funny, kind of like when we used to visit these mansions in the Hamptons when I was a kid - giant mansions with one maid and one lonely kid in them - all the adults off somewhere... kind of creepy actually.

That's when my formative views of the price of wealth were formed....

you sure are a sweet-talker, you know that, swag? ;)
