have you ever considered having your house feng shui-ed? Sometimes that stuff can really make a difference. Those Chinese really know their stuff. Around here, in CA of course, there are REal Estate agents who work with feng shui consultants to help their clients get the energy flowing better and it makes a noticeable difference in their sales, too. It really works!

The only reason I mention this is b/c it seems you've been trying to unload this property for a while now, with no luck. At this point, any extra good ju ju you can get might be worth considering.

As you can guess, we've had a feng shui consultant come through our own home after we'd done a big remodel and she made several really important recommendations that we've used. We didn't use every single one of her suggestions, mind you, but the ones we did use made a HUGE difference in our place, energetically. People always are commenting on how comfortable and peaceful they feel in our home and I'm sure it has something do with how the "chi" (universal life energy) flows.

I think people subconsciously pick up on the vibe in a house and b/c there's been so much negativity in your housing/relationship scene lately it's worth considering doing something extra to help clear out the vibe and call in new energies to help make the house seem more inviting to prospective new buyers. At the very least, burn some sage as you walk around the house and, with intention, speak out what you specifically want to draw in to you. We are powerful Manifestors, we just forget sometimes. :D

26. You know, I've never thought about feng shui per se.

Originally we had so much furniture in the house that it wasn't possible to do much more than edge around it. Now that the STBE's stuff is out it is almost too bare. I guess I should give some thought to what you say. The negative energies... they are definitely there although dissipating. And tomorrow I'll put more into my preparations than just cleaning. Chocolate chip if you can, and be done with the baking about an hour before the showing.

Put a small plate of cookies in a couple of rooms upstairs, a larger one in the downstairs main room near the front entry, and in the kitchen.

Something about the smell of fresh cookies (the vanilla) makes people want to be in the space.
