1. I love San Diego
Great pictures!

My sister lives there, and I have tons of pics from when I've gone to visit her. Last time I was there was July, for ComiCon.

I want to move there.

14. damn
you were here in July?

You gotta drop me a line next time you come, bro, we'll get together.

BTW, that sailing vessel in the harbour is fantastic, we've been all over it. Lots of fun for those of us with a pirate fascination.

That shot will just remain in my memory bank. Thanks for the compliment on the photos. I must have shot more than 200 pics. Thank goodness for digital technology.

4. If I recall correctly, it's Cabrillo National Monument, not park
And yes, it has some fantastic sunsets.

11. I've missed you too, Ducky. I forgot how much shit there is out here
in the real world. As of yesterday, Jan 15th, we've already had our third murder. Gang-related and high school students, to boot.

Sometimes I miss the pleasant vagaries of the virtual world, but the juxtaposition between here and there give a wonderful backdrop in and of themselves to meditate on the nature of things, esp. in light of the paradox that friends made here are just as real as the personalities who disappear from there, when snuffed out.

Ghosts, meet The Intangibles. Intangibles, allow me to introduce Ghosts.

The absurdity of such contradictions embody, at times, beauty of such subtlety as to transcend expression.

6. very nice pics..
I've lived here most my of life, and tend to take it for granted. Sometimes you have to see your home through the eyes of another to truly appreciate it. Where was that last photo taken?

7. The last photo was taken
at the desert gardens at the Wild Animal Park. I really enjoyed that more than the zoo. If I could have afforded it, I would have taken the photo ride into the park rather than the monorail, but it was a little too pricey for me.

9. I only went to GasLamp
after dark to have dinner and I didn't have my tripod with me. We had dinner one night at Chive and another at Croce's, both very good.

One thing that surprised me was that restaurants weren't more vegetarian friendly there. I usually found one item on the menus I could eat, but usually only one. I had some really remarkable desserts as well. I ate so well, but since I went to the gym every morning and walked a ton every day, I managed NOT to gain a pound.

I have a few pics of Old Town, but it was almost dark when we got there. Unfortunately, we stayed in the touristy area and it was much too packaged for my tastes.

17. Didn't make it there
I was amazed at how many places we were able to squeeze in. Maybe next time.
