Does anybody here know what "Ticc-ya-toh" means?
The phrase, "Ticc-ya-toh" is engraved/stamped on many pieces of Native American (Navajo) jewelry in my friend's collection that he's asked me to sell. He doesn't know anything about it. I've typed the phrase )and every other possible spelling of the phrase that I can think of) into Google and other search engines with no results.

The jewelry was purchased in Monument Valley.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance....

4. I believe it is the name of the craftsman.
Is a date inscribed also?

5. No, no date
But there's other jewelry in which the artist stamped his/her initials but not the date. Anyone out there have a book on Native American/Navajo jewelry-makers/silversmiths?

I did a search on the IACA website and didn't find anything, either...
