i'm seriously depressed over money and my desire to buy things
Edited on Sun May-20-07 11:17 AM by bertha katzenengel
i want a new flat screen tv for my bedroom - where i rarely watch television - and i want a sony digital video camera that's about six hundred bucks

we can't spend this money anyway but it doesn't stop me from thinking of what. i. want. before thinking of anything else, such as --

who the hell am i, when people are homeless and starving, to think about buying things?

edit: no replies necessary. i wanted to get this out to the cosmos, maybe it'll help me be less materialistic to have done so

2. Go ahead and buy it
when you have enough to make a donation equal to the purchase to a homeless shelter, food bank, heating help for the poor, etc.
