Saturday Night Pic Thread!! Us and my dogs!
Edited on Sat May-12-07 09:35 PM by bicentennial_baby
Sniffa dancing with my baby dog Buddy:

Me and my baby:

Stripe and I, her licking her nose...

Stripe singing to y'all (howling), Buddy yawning

Now let's see you! :bounce:

:hi:

ps- note the characteristic Husky cooling holes in the ground...The septic guys love how they aerate the leach field

On edit: OMG, y'all should have seen Sniffa and the two grey and white kittens! Eeeek! The three of them played together (and slept next to each other on the couch) all afternoon....awwww! :)

3. I adore those pups!
Stripe is a Siberian trained sprint racing Husky, and Buddy is a pound puppy Alaskan baby. They're my favorite animals in the whole wide world..

33. You have a beautiful family...
I love your comment, "Our dog Talley, pretending not to be on the couch."

That is so true. Dogs seem to think that if they don't look at you, then you can't see them.

Great photos!

20. Thanks! ....
I took that shot of my eldest on a road trip from home (SF Bay Area) to Philadelphia and back. I wanted to go down to NC, but ended up coming back down Virginia, then hangin' a right into Tennessee. I wish I had gone further south, cause the pics I've seen of NC are beautiful but...the horizon was a callin' and I was headed for Shiloh.

:D

26. They do love to dig for fun, but, they
also use a bunch of the holes when it gets really hot, around July-August. It really works, in combination with lot of fresh drinking water and occasional misting with the hose. It sounds like a lot, but they'd be miserable in the house during summer...they come in at night and chill in front of the fans in the living room. :)

27. Yes, inside from about 6pm to 6am...
they come in, go into the living room, the gate is shut so they can't roam the entire house, they settle on their own dog couch and sleep, taken outside when needed. Then, they get up at 5:30 and get taken outside by my Mom, fed, watered, etc. They're happy pups. :)

28. Beautiful pups.
I used to love it when we had them at the kennel I worked in. As soon as we went upstairs at the end of the day they would get the whole kennels singing; it only happened when huskies were in there.

Marx with a lampshade, throwing the horns, gets me every time.

Here's me reliving my glory days on the playground.
