OMG, Pet peeve!

Ok, honestly, I swear the people I work are a little slow on the uptake. That or they can't fathom that someone would NOT want to stay here for ever and ever...

I am tired of being saying "So I hear you're thinking of going back to school!" No, not thinking, DOING. All those weeks/months I spent studying for the GRE's, researching schools, applying to schools, getting all the necessary application materials together...etc, taking a SICK DAY to go to Lanham, MD just to take a 3-hour test...that was not all for shits and giggles.

Perhaps most importantly...I've been accepted to a college! I've said over and over to people, "I'm going to grad school. I've been accepted to such and such school, so I'll be going back to school in the fall." :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Of course, I do have my glamorous and lucrative career as a receptionist to think about... :eyes:



Anyone else have anything/one they need to bitch about?

1. I fucking hate it when people

bitch about their pet peeves.

2. People using a word that is blatantly wrong in a posting. It's obvious

that spellcheck caught them and they picked the word because they figured spellcheck was right.


Newsflash to these people: Spellcheck isn't always right.

what could be said in five minutes.....
